This combination of leg assembly and 2-way fluid panhead is a far superior product in comparison to the traditional tripod/head combination which is constructed of aluminum alloy. Using carbon fiber and magnesium alloy created a tripod leg assembly that is a third less weight, yet three times stronger than a tripod constructed of aluminum.
